Become an experimental archaeologist and learn how people of the past used to live and hunt. Join archaeologist and museum director, Dan Joyce, in making your own atlatl, a prehistoric spear thrower, then join in a friendly competition to see who can throw a spear the furthest. Leave with your own atlatl and spear! A $10 supply fee is paid to the instructor the day of the workshop.
